On 4/8/09 The Brockton Fire Department responded to box 5233 at 38 Leyden Park Rd for a reported garage fire at a residence. BFD arrived with smoke showing from an attached garage. 2 lines were placed into operation, interior companies found a vehicle inside that caught fire and extended to the garage. BFD made a great stop and it appeared there was minimal damage to the actual house itself. It was a 1 to1.5 sty wood frame approx 20x40 with attached garage. Brockton Ladder 2 made quick vent work on the roof area and extensive overhaul handled by all companies. 1 civilian was transported by AMR from the scene.
