On 5/25/09 at 0640 hrs Middleboro Fire Dept responded to the corners of S.main St and Benson for a reported building fire. Companies quickly advanced to a w/f and then a second alarm. Fire was in a large 2-3 sty wdfrm church with heavy fire conditions in the interior. The Church had an attached rectory which also had heavy conditions. Several towns responded to the scene on the 3rd and 4th alarm. Companies were heavily engaged for an extended period of time.
