Your Bio

Hello, Thank You for visiting Car6Fire photos.com. My name is Eric Hoffman. I am a Firefighter Paramedic with the Stoughton Fire Department in Massachusetts. I have been a Paramedic for 12 years and on the Fire Department for 11 years. Car6 Fire Photos was started 3/28/09. This site will be added to as I get photos of scenes and the people that work them.

In addition, I was an early member of the Tac9 Radio and paging, now I am a member of Providence Citywide both on the radio and paging (ENS) side. Citywide is a notification network in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. http://www.pcfn.org . I am a 2 way radio and scanner programmer and avid listener. It has been my one and only hobby for over 20 years.I am a member of the International Fire Photographers Association http://ifpaweb.ning.com/. I am also a member of the Breaking News Network. This site is just a small collection of public service photos from around the Brockton and Stoughton area.

Some photos are submitted by area department members. Most photos are taken by me whenever it is possible to do so. If you would like to submit any photos of scenes, apparatus or candids, I will be happy to put them on **Please forward your pics to car6firephotos@gmail.com** Allow some time for them to be added and visit often as the site changes from week to week. No Pics involving patients will be added due to privacy restrictions and respect to the injured. Photos are taken with the intention of training and media.

Fire buffing is a long lived tradition done by all walks of life, Firefighters, Photographers, Police and Hobbyist as well as the everyday person. Several area buffs have started their own sites as well. Please take some time and visit their sites as well. They are listed below and at the bottom of this page. I have had the pleasure of having some of my photos published by websites and calendars as well.
